JOINING FORCES WITH LOCAL MEALS FOR LOCAL HEROES

Local Meals for Local Heroes is a grassroots COVID-19 fundraising effort in Nashville, TN. Identifying both an opportunity to fuel front line healthcare heroes in the greater Nashville area and an urgent need for business in the Nashville restaurant community during Mayor Cooper's Safer-at-Home order, Local Meals for Local Heroes answered the needs of both issues with one answer: purchasing meals prepared for healthcare workers from restaurants needing help in Nashville.

Through the generous support of those who love Music City, Local Meals for Local Heroes has been able to provide hope to the tireless frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic. From paramedics to ICU and emergency room staff to hospital custodians, imaging technicians, and administrators, Local Meals has made a point to offer continuing support and gratitude to them all while bringing much needed business to the restaurants who need it. Just as the rising tide raises all ships, so too does our city and its people benefit when local heroes are lifted up.
